Day 1: Negombo to Kandy

Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted by a representative of Lanka Tour Experts. From there, you will proceed to Kandy, making a stop at the renowned Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage along the way.

The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage serves as a sanctuary for orphaned elephants, offering a unique opportunity to observe these majestic creatures up close. Established in 1975, the orphanage has seen its elephant population grow over the years, with several elephant calves being born here. Visitors can witness the feeding sessions (at 09:15am and 01:15pm) and the elephants’ daily bath in the nearby river (at 10:00am and 02:00pm), where these gentle giants joyfully frolic in the water.

Continue your journey to Kandy, the last stronghold of the island before it fell under British rule. This vibrant town boasts a rich history deeply ingrained in the local culture. Day 2: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya – Kandapola

Day 3: Kandapola to Kalutara
