3 Day Tour Sri Lanka [Lily]

Day 1 of 3 day tour Sri Lanka : Colombo to Nuwara Eliya

Day one starts from Colombo or Bandaranayake International Airport or nearby hotel in Colombo or Negombo.
Then proceed to Pinnawala elephant orphanage. There you can see elephants bathing and feeding. Hence, you can participate on milk feeding of calf-elephants (baby elephants) if you like.

After visiting elephant orphanage, then you will proceed to Kandy. There at the first you will visit Royal Botanical Garden. There, you can get an experience of a memorable walk along the paths of beautiful green landscaping with full of flowers. In addition to that you can see some historically important trees.

Then you will visit to the Temple of Tooth. Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha, housed here. Moreover, this is the palace of Sri Lankan last king.

After visiting Temple of Tooth, you will travel to Nuwara Eliya. On the way to Nuwara Eliya, our driver will show you some extra tourist locations such as waterfalls. You are able to visit some beautiful places here. Some of those places are Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, Race Course, Golf Club, market places, old English post office building, etc. After finishing the Nuwara Eliya city tour, driver will drop you at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya where you stay overnight.

Day 2 of 3 day tour Sri Lanka : Nuwara Eliya to Haputale

In the beginning of the second day you will visit Horton Plains in the morning. Furthermore, this is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You are able to see Baker’s Falls, Worlds end and mini worlds end and many other special places during this nature trekking.

Then you will visit to see a tea plantation and tea factory. There you are able to learn the manufacturing process of Ceylon Tea.

Then you will proceed to Haputale and stay overnight there.

During the second day you will visit the following places.

• Horton Plains National Park
• Worlds End
• Mini Worlds End
• Baker’s Falls
• Tea Factory Visit

Day 3 of 3 day tour Sri Lanka : Haputale to Colombo

At the beginning of the third day, you will visit Lipton Seat in the morning. There you can see a 360-degree panoramic view. You are able to see five provinces of Sri Lanka at once here. If you like, you are able to visit here early in the morning to see the sunrise.

Then proceed down to Adisham Bungalow. This is a British old architecture with stone walls and Oak wood roof. After that you will return to Colombo. On the way to Colombo you are able to visit St. Clair’s falls at Nanuoya.
