Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package (6 Days)

After a warm welcome of the Sri Lankan taste Hospitality of “LANKA TOUR EXPERTS” representative, your personal tourist driver will transfer you directly to Nuwara Eliya.  Then on the second day, you will stay in Nuwara Eliya. Next, the guests will proceed to Ella on the third day. After getting experience of tremendous locations guest will stay at a hotel at Ella for the third night of Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package (6 days) tour.

Then you will proceed to Galle on the fourth day. On the way you will get an experience of wildlife safari too. Fourth night you will stay at Galle. Then next day, will be a leisure morning on the world famous Unawatuna beach and rest of the day guest will see some attractive places and stay overnight in Galle. During the last day of the tour you will travel to Colombo again. On the way to Colombo you will see another attractive tourist locations along the way.

Day 1 of Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package 6 Days Tour : Colombo to Nuwara Eliya

At the beginning of your lovable honeymoon tour, our tourist driver will pick up you at the place you stay in Colombo or at the Bandaranayake International Airport on your arrival to Sri Lanka. After a warm welcome you will directly proceed to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. There you can see lots of elephants and even participate in feeding baby elephants.

Then you will proceed to Kandy. First site seeing in Kandy is the Royal Botanical Garden. You can feel a nice greened pathway walking experience here through many kinds of flowers and trees surrounding, ponds and beautiful landscaping. Your next visit is the herbal spice garden and here you can have an excellent knowledge about Sri Lanka spices and herbal medicinal plants.

Then you will proceed to see beautiful Ramboda Waterfall. Your next visit is a tea factory. Here you can have an experience of Sri Lankan Tea Processing and even participate on plucking tea leaves with native tea leaf plucking women. Tea factory also provides you a high quality Sri Lankan cup of tea free for every visiting guest.

So, this is the ending of the first day of Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package 6 days tour. Overnight stay at one of the amazing Nuwara Eliya hotels.

Day 2 of Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package: Stay in Nuwara Eliya

This is the second day of the Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package. Early morning at about 5.00 am with packing breakfast you will start the tour again. First visit of the day is Horton Plains. This will be a remarkable experience. A long trekking through the misty cloud forest, seeing Baker’s waterfall and World’s End and the Mini World’s End will be a tremendous nature trekking experience. Here you will find many endemic flora and fauna in this Horton Plains National Park.

In the afternoon after the lunch you will see some surroundings in Nuwara Eliya City. Gregory Lake and the Gregory Lake Park is one of the immense travel sight here. You can do a boat ride on the cold Gregory Lake waters if you like. Then you will proceed to Victoria Park, the city park of Nuwara Eliya. There you can see many flowers, trees and ponds with eye-catching landscaping. Next, you will go to old fruit market of Nuwara Eliya, old post office and the Royal Turf Club grounds to see horses. You can do a horse ride here if you like.

Finally our tourist driver will drop you back to the place you stay in Nuwara Eliya. Overnight stay in a hotel at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 3 of Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package : Nuwara Eliya to Ella (Train Journey)

You will travel from Nuwara Eliya to Ella on the third day of this Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package. Our tourist driver will pick you up from the hotel you stayed at Nuwara Eliya in the morning and drop to Nanuoya Railway station. From here you will travel to Ella by the train. You can see beautiful surroundings along this railway track and this will be a memorable romantic tour for both of you.

Our tourist driver will pick you up from the Ella railway station and go for seeing the Nine Arches Bridge near the Ella railway station. This is one of the iconic places in the upcountry railway track. Then you will proceed to Ella Rock. Here you will go to see the Little Adam’s Peak. Little Adam’s Peak is a little bit of adventure with trekking and hiking. Finally our tourist driver will drop you at a hotel in Ella to stay overnight.

Day 4 of Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package: Ella to Galle

This is the fourth day of the Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package. Our driver will pick you up from the hotel in the morning and proceed to see the Ravana waterfalls. After visiting Ravana waterfalls you will directly proceed to Udawalawa National Park. There you will go for a wildlife safari.

After finishing the wildlife safari at Udawalawe National Park you will proceed down to Galle. Overnight stay in a beach hotel in Galle.

Day 5 of Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package: Stay in Galle

You can spend leisure in the morning of the fifth day at the beach. There you can have a snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming, water scooter, and etc. experience if you like. After the lunch our tourist driver will pick you at the hotel in Galle and take you to see the stilt fishermen in Koggala. This is one of the oldest traditional fishing method in Sri Lanka, can only be seen in Galle.

Then you will travel to ancient Galle Dutch Fort. There you can have a great experience about the old colonial architecture which still unchanged in Galle Fort. In the afternoon you will go for a Galle City Tour. There you will see the old fruit market, vegetable market, fish market, traditional mask factory and handloom factory. Then our driver will drop you back to the hotel you stayed in Galle.

Day 6 of Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package: Galle to Colombo /or Bandaranayake International Airport

This is the last day of the Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package. Our tourist driver will pick you up at the hotel and proceed to Hikkaduwa. There you will go for a Glass Bottomed Boat ride to see the world famous Hikkaduwa Corel Reef. Then you will proceed to see the famous moonstone mine.

After this you will travel to Ambalangoda. Here you can have another big experience of special river safari. This Madu River Safari is one of the best experiences a tourist can get in Sri Lanka. You will have memorable and picturesque boat ride through the mangrove jungle of the Madu river shore and also see some wildlife there.
After finishing the Madu River Safari, you will proceed to Colombo. At the end of the Sri Lanka Honeymoon Package tour, our tourist driver will drop you to the hotel you stay in Colombo or directly to the Bandaranayake International Airport for your departure.
